Hi! My name is Basile Van Hoorick, and I am a Research Scientist at Toyota Research Institute. I focus on helping computers understand the visual world around us, with a particular interest in 3D/4D representation learning. Before this, I was a Ph.D. student at Columbia University.
In my free time, I like to create electronic music, play video games, explore restaurants and bars, practice mixology, or occasionally fly small aircraft as a private pilot.
If you are interested in my current research activities, feel free to review this page.
If you would like to contact me for any reason, you are welcome to do so here.
